Disney/Marvel's other big movie this year isn't due in theaters until November, but the studios have gotten the ball rolling in promoting Thor: The Dark World. A teaser poster was released this morning in advance of a teaser trailer which will be arriving online next Tuesday. The teaser trailer will most likely be attached to Iron Man 3, which opens in theaters May 3.
As with Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World picks up after the events of The Avengers with the Asgardian God battling an ancient race of Dark Elves who threaten to plunge the universe into darkness. The conflict leads Thor to reunite with Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and set out on a dangerous journey that will "force him to make the ultimate sacrifice."
