Don’t want to wait another day to see James Bond back in action in Skyfall? You’re in luck … kind of.

Columbia Pictures announced via 007’s Twitter feed that Sam Mendes’ thriller will open one day earlier than planned -- meaning that the wait for Skyfall just grew shorter by 24 hours for fans in the States.

Now the film will open on Nov. 8 in North American IMAX theaters, giving audiences an opportunity to see Bond on a larger-than-life mission.

Sadly, that’s still more than two weeks later than the film’s official premiere, which is scheduled for Oct. 22 in Belgrade (followed by a splashy London premiere on Oct. 23). But to help ease the pain of waiting, and the help tide audiences over, Sony today shared an international TV spot for the new movie. It’s predominantly made up of recycled footage. Plus, it has the cuff-link-on-a-train shot, which might be my all-time favorite shot in a Bond film to date.
