As we continue to look ahead to the movies of 2011 (see our poll results on blockbusters and on-screen couples and sexiest actor and actress), we realized there are a bunch more superhero movies arriving in theaters over the next 12 months. From Marvel to DC to everything in between, you better get used to tight spandex and characters with emotional issues.
Things begin this month with The Green Hornet, before we skip our way past other films like Thor, The Green Lantern, X-Men: First Class, Captain America and James Gunn's Super. Personally, there's just something about Captain America and his WWII-set storyline that immediately piques my interest more than any other superhero film coming out this year. Also, word out of the Toronto Fest was that James Gunn's Super, starring Rainn Wilson as a guy who dresses up as masked avenger and causes mass damage, was one helluva fun ride as well. So those are the two I'm most anticipating.
