While The Avengers continues to ramp up for their May 4 theatrical release, The Amazing Spider-Man follows only a few months after. Not only will the movie have to fight off the cynicism of rebooting a franchise whose original trilogy concluded five years ago but Christopher Nolan's final Batman film opens two weeks after Spidey hits theater screens.

To that end, a pair of new posters and a new international trailer were released over the weekend. The Japanese trailer shows gives us a few more shots of The Lizard as portrayed by Rhys Ifans. The Amazing Spider-Man swings into theaters July 3.

Another high-profile Marvel character is gearing up for his next film. Iron Man 3 is set to be co-financed by DMG Entertainment of Beijing. DMG will manage the Chinese production elements of Iron Man 3 and keep the Chinese distribution rights.

The co-financing lends credence to the rumors that the villain in the third Iron Man movie would be The Mandarin, a Chinese nobleman, scientist and diplomat turned criminal mastermind who is considered to be Iron Man's greatest foe. He possesses the ten rings of power recovered from an alien spaceship as well as superhuman mastery of martial arts. There exists the outside chance that the Chinese physicist/ radiation manipulator Radioactive Man could appear as well.

Ben Kingsley was cast last week as the central villain in the film and many believe he will play the terrorist Mallen. Is there room for more than one villain in Iron Man 3?
