Time to get your nerd on! Here are a few big stories currently zooming through the online geekverse.

Check Out the New Fantastic Four Poster

"Change Is Coming"... or so says the newest poster for this summer's Fantastic Four, due out on August 7. The poster gives off an ominous vibe for our four heroes, Mr. Fantastic (Miles Teller), Sue Storm (Kate Mara), Johnny Storm (Michael B. Jordan) and The Thing (Jamie Bell).

The studio is choosing not to reveal too much too soon about the reboot, which will take a more dark and gritty David Cronenberg-esque scientific approach to the popular Marvel comic, though fans will be happy to know that according to Teller those classic Fantastic Four costumes will indeed appear in the movie.

The X-Files Is Returning to Television

Following two solo movies that piggybacked off the popular television show, The X-Files is once again making a comeback... only this time it won't be on the big screen.

The story of FBI agents who investigate strange and inexplicable activity will return to the small screen for a limited series on Fox, to begin shooting this summer. Original cast members David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will return. [via Variety]

Is Captain Marvel Making an Appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron?

She is... according to scoopmaster El Mayimbe. He claims Marvel has already cast the female hero long before her solo movie hits screens in 2018. Furthermore, she'll be introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron -- in theaters May 1. As per Mayimbe...

RT! HOT #MARVEL #RUMOR ABOUT #CAPTAINMARVEL #SPOILER Apparently, from what I'm being told, the rumor is that the studio has cast the role of Carol Danvers & keeping it top secret. I'm also being told we will first see her in #AVENGERS #AgeofUltron as originally written in previous drafts of the screenplay. In terms of the standalone film, the Marvel brain trust has blocked out the plot & story with the intention of bringing an established writer to write the script. Comic writer Kelly Sue DeConnick wanted to take a crack at writing the screenplay but I'm not sure if she got the gig. Also, I'm told legendary comic writer Jim Starlin, who has a rich history with Captain Marvel is aboard the project as a consultant. All of the above is #UNCONFIRMED so take with grain of salt until further notice but it's within the realm of plausibility.
