Last week the Alamo Drafthouse's movie poster powerhouse Mondo revealed that they were doing a series of seven posters for Marvel's The Avengers, and they kicked off that announcement by unveiling their stylish tributes to Black Widow and Hawkeye. You can view Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk in this gallery as well as the soon-to-be released full Avengers poster. Today it is our sincere pleasure to lift the digital curtain on the most Godlike member of the team, Thor.

The beauty you see below was created by Martin Ansin, who for this writer's money is the coolest artist in the Mondo stable (we last premiered his gorgeous Planet of the Apes poster), and will go on sale Friday, April 27th.
