Marvel May Skip San Diego Comic-Con This Year
Looks like this year's San Diego Comic-Con may not end with yet another massive Marvel Studios panel, as Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn recently told fans on Facebook (via Screencrush) that Marvel will not be in attendance this year.
Could they be saving the fireworks for Disney's own solo convention, D23? Will DC own this year's fan event? Or is Gunn just playing coy? Regardless of whether Marvel has a panel there, we fully expect them to have some kind of presence on the convention floor, as they do every year.
Chris Evans Visits Children's Hospital as Captain America
Making good on a Super Bowl bet he had with Chris Pratt (even though he won the bet), Patriots fan Chris Evans dressed as Captain America and visited a Seattle children's hospital yesterday, bringing immense joy to a bunch of kids who desperately need more of that in their lives. Evans was joined by Guardians of the Galaxy star and Seattle Seahawks fan Chris Pratt, who already made good on his half of the bet -- dressing as Star-Lord and visiting a separate children's hospital -- as the duo made the rounds, handing a bunch of kids what's sure to become one of the best days ever.
Fans take note of Cap's new uniform, which he'll be wearing in Avengers: Age of Ultron (in theaters May 1). You'll see it's a little different from the one he wore in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, including the addition of an Avengers "A" patch on his shoulder. More images at JoBlo.
Watch Thor's Age of Ultron After Party
Chris Hemsworth hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend, and one amusing sketch during the show featured Hemsworth (dressed as Thor) celebrating the defeat of Ultron. We guess you could call it an after party of sorts, which is funny because the production title of Age of Ultron was, in fact, After Party.
One thing's for sure -- you've never seen Thor acting this way before. Check it out below.
