Rather than a traditional team effort, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw primarily focuses on just two people: Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) as they form a wary, if unlikely, alliance against a common foe that threatens the future of mankind.
Yes, you read that right. The villainous Brixton (Idris Elba) has been genetically-enhanced to the nth degree, becoming a force that is far too powerful for any one individual to stop. But Brixton didn't count on a dynamic union between lawman Hobbs and outcast Shaw, who reluctantly realize they must work together to have any chance to defeat the villain. Vanessa Kirby and Helen Mirren also star as Shaw family members who play key roles in the epic battle. No wonder moviegoers say it's one of their most anticipated movies of the summer.
