Are you ready for another X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie? What's the matter – the first one wasn't horrible enough for you? You're begging for more of Hugh Jackman in a white undershirt clawing his way through shape-shifting mutants on a quest to … achieve something, anything … am I right? Well, we already know that 20th Century Fox is planning a sequel, but at the Teen Choice Awards recently, Hugh Jackman cemented that fact and spoke about what they have planned for the character's next adventure.

He told MTV that next up Wolvy is heading to Japan. Says Jackman, "Japan is where we're heading, [and] we're starting to work on it now. 're in ... the first steps of developing that story … I think the fans love that saga. It's my favorite saga of the Wolverine stories. That's a movie I've longed to make from the beginning, so that's where we're heading."

The Japanese storyline is one hardcore Wolverine fans have been wanting to see on screen for a long time now, and it's possible filmmakers will adapt the comic co-written by Frank Miller that found Wolverine battling ninjas and samurais, aside from taking a Japanese bride. Are you a fan of those old Wolverine comics? And is this the story you want told next?

And Speaking of Sequels … It's 'G.I. Joe 2'

Despite the fact that the first film received massive amounts of bad buzz, to the point where Paramount didn't even screen it for critics, moviegoers still turned out in droves during G.I. Joe's opening weekend ($100 million worldwide), making it so a sequel is all but certain. Paramount's vice chairman Rob Moore has already alerted media to the fact that a sequel will go into development soon, and that the entire cast is contractually obligated for one more film.

Director Stephen Sommers, however, is not obligated to return and can opt out if he chooses. But for a guy who doesn't really have anywhere else to go, he may as well stay on the gravy train for at least one more movie and see what happens. As far as the sequel's plot and release date goes, all we know at this time is that it probably won't screen for critics. But, um, that was kind of obvious.

What say you – is G.I. Joe worthy of a sequel?

Will Steven Spielberg Save Halo: The Movie?

It wasn't too long ago that Peter Jackson and District 9 director Neill Blomkamp watched as their big-budgeted Halo adaptation disappeared right before their eyes. Jackson was to produce, and Blomkamp was to make his directorial debut, but studios got cold feet and pulled out, all but killing the film right then and there. Blomkamp and Jackson then moved on to District 9 (which hits theaters this weekend), utilizing a much smaller budget of $30 million.

Now, though, IESB reports that Steven Spielberg may be interested in resurrecting the Halo project and producing a version based on Stuart Beattie's (G.I. Joe) much talked-about script, titled Halo: The Fall of Reach. The site says he's in talks to produce the film, though we're not sure why he'd tackle the project after Jackson – who's working with Spielberg on Tintin – already washed his hands clean of it. Does Spielberg really want Jackson's sloppy Halo seconds?

Of course gamers will want to see this film, but do you really think it's worth all the trouble?
