Tons of exciting Fanboy news has hit the Web in the past 24 hours. Let’s run though a few of the things we recently learned.

- Hayley Atwell, who played love interest Peggy Carter in Captain America: The First Avenger, has hinted that her time in the Marvel fold might not be over, and she might actually be involved in a short film that could screen during Comic Con this summer. Read all about the footage on The Age. Could it be that Atwell filmed a bridge between First Avengers and the upcoming Winter Soldier?

- Speaking of Marvel, director James Gunn has opened up about his plans for The Guardians of the Galaxy, the offbeat space film that’s part of the company’s Phase Two and could lead directly into The Avengers 2.

Talking to HeyUGuys at the London premiere of Iron Man 3, Gunn said that the movie starts shooting in June, and that we’ll find out who is playing Rocket Raccoon in the next few days (but it’s not Jason Statham, as was rumored). He also says that Rocket Raccoon in the "heart" of the story, and that contrary to earlier reports, Tony Stark will not be featured in the movie either in a cameo or in a major role. Read the full interview here.

- Warner Bros. distributed a brand new image from Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. It gives us a great shot at Superman’s costume, with built-in abs. Can’t this movie get here, like … tomorrow?!

- Splash News has on-set footage of Jamie Foxx in costume as Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Consider it spoilery, so only play it if you want to get an unofficial sneak peek at Marc Webb’s sequel.

- And finally, did you see Patton Oswalt’s epic rant from NBC’s Parks and Recreation, where he merged the Star Wars and Marvel universes into one dream project? Watch it here:
