Aside from being one of the most iconic superheroes in comic mythology, he is also one of the most complex. In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we get to see the evolution of Batman/Bruce Wayne into an "older, darker and more world-weary" character, as he is described by Batman himself, Ben Affleck, in this Fandango Movieclips exclusive featurette.

Henry Cavill, who plays Superman in the film, describes his masked foe as "brutal and unforgiving." We see this when Batman asks Superman, "Do you bleed?" And then answers his own question with the menacing, "You will."
