Ladies and gentlemen, it has begun … sort of. Today marks the unofficial first day of San Diego Comic-Con, complete with what's called "Preview Night." There aren't any panels on preview night; instead, fans are allowed to walk the convention floor for a few hours and "preview" all the cool booths. As far as films go, this year the convention floor will house displays for Tron: Legacy, The Green Hornet, The Green Lantern, Drive Angry 3D, Red and more! It's all pretty rad – and what makes things even more surreal is to go look at all this stuff alongside people dressed in the weirdest costumes – but that's what’s so great about Comic-Con: It literally exists solely for you to get your hardcore geek on.

In advance of the first day of panels (tomorrow) and Fandango's much buzzed-about complete Comic-Con coverage, a few new photos have arrived online courtesy of USA Today and Entertainment Weekly. Here you can check out this brand new image of Thor, all sweaty and showin' off his muscles.  

This image follows a couple that fans weren't so crazy about, particularly because of the way the costumes looked. So, yeah, I don't blame Marvel for stepping away from the costumes and showing off their latest superhero in, um, a more positive light. Girls, eat you heart out. Guys … well, he'll be fighting someone eventually.
