With shrieks of Twi-hards ringing in our ears, we can report that Twilight: Breaking Dawn: Part 1 has just wrapped their panel and the cast is currently exiting Hall H. Footage from the latest Twilight movie was shown to a packed house of 6,000 Twilight fans and members of the press who will be making appointments with their local ear doctors once Con is over.
Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were joined on stage by for a Q&A session by Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene and Julia Jones.
Two clips were screened for the crowd. The first was an extended honeymoon sequence which one of the audience members later complemented Pattinson on his nice back muscles. The other scene featured Lautner’s Jacob facing off against his wolf pack leader. The teaser trailer was also screened again at the end.
Bill Condon, who takes the helm for this two-part Breaking Dawn movie has definitely added a darker tone to the saga, with bits of humor spliced in like Bella's honeymoon sequence which features a comical music montage of her prepping to take a swim with her newly-wedded husband.
As the crowd clears out we await an animation showcase next, which will feature a Q&A session with PeeWee Herman.
Breaking Dawn: Part 1 arrives in theaters November 18th.
