The new heavily-anticipated Captain America trailer is set to unleash a whole batch of awesomeness on these here internets at some point tomorrow (and in theaters this weekend), but Entertainment Tonight premiered a good chunk of the trailer on their show last night, which you can now watch below.
Unfortunately – as they do with all the trailers they premiere – the Entertainment Anchor talks over most of the trailer, which may annoy some, though you have to admit this footage looks ridiculously promising. Captain America: The First Avenger has been my most anticipated Summer Blockbuster of 2011, partly because it looks badass, but also because it’s set in a different time (World War II), offering us a superhero film unlike any we’ve seen before (I can’t be the only one who feels a little Indiana Jones vibe while watching this).
Captain America: The First Avenger stars Chris Evans (as our hero), Hayley Atwell, Hugo Weaving, Tommy Lee Jones, Stanley Tucci and more, and it hits theaters on July 22nd. Watch the trailer preview below and let us know what you think. We’ll post the full trailer when it goes live tomorrow.
