It's not hard to guess the plot of a movie called Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It's got Batman. It's got Superman. They're going to fight. But today things got slightly more official with Warner Bros. revealing the first synopsis.
Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
All of that was hinted at in the teaser trailer (see below), of course, but it is curious that the synopsis refers to them being "at war with one another." That's a bit more elevated than just "Batman doesn't trust Superman." Then again, it seems like Batman is going to have some serious trust issues in Zack Snyder's film.
We also got a clean look at the new Batmobile today, and according to Warner Bros. description at the Licensing Expo [via The Hollywood Reporter], the badass vehicle was "single-handedly designed and fabricated in near complete seclusion by the Batman." So this time around there's no help from Alfred or any engineers within Wayne Enterprises.

In some final Batman v Superman news, that same Licensing Expo also showed off some replicas of Wonder Woman's fancy new suit, which has more color to it than the desaturated picture Snyder shared of Gal Gadot at least year's Comic-Con. And speaking of Comic-Con, expect Snyder and the entire Batman v Superman cast to be on hand with all sorts of goodies for fans who attend next month's convention in San Diego.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, 2016. As a reminder, here's the teaser trailer:
