Khloe Kardashian was a businesswoman and reality TV star who was best known for being one of the family members featured on the long-running and immensely popular reality series "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" (E!, 2007- ). Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Khloe was brought up in the spotlight. In addition to growing up in close proximity to glamorous Hollywood, Khloe's father was the controversial Los Angeles attorney Robert Kardashian, who was one of the so-called "Dream Team" of lawyers who successfully defended ex-football star O.J. Simpson during his 1995 trial for the murder of his wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend Ronald Goldman. Khloe's mom, Kris, would later divorce Robert in 1991, and later that year marry ex-Olympic decathlon star Caitlyn Jenner (who was then called Bruce). Having already had a tight bond with her two sisters, Kim and Kourtney, and her brother Rob, Khloe would go on to gain three stepbrothers in her mother's marriage, as well as two half-sisters, Kendall and Kylie, in later years. The robust Kardashian Family was always very tight, especially the bond formed between Khloe, Kourtney and Kim. But the addition of the new family members would make the family even tighter. The family's lives, however, would be turned upside down in early 2007 when a 2003 sex tape between Khloe's sister Kim, and her then-boyfriend, the rapper Ray J, was leaked onto the internet. The leaking of the tape, however, practically made Kim Kardashian a household name overnight. As a result, Kim and the rest of her family signed a deal with the E! network to film a reality series about their lives. The first episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" premiered on October 14, 2007 and was an instantly popular, drawing millions of ravenous fans. As a result, over the course of many seasons, Khloe and the rest of her family became household names due to the show's immense popularity. Due to the success of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," several spin-off reality shows were created involving Khloe, including "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami" (E!, 2009-2013) and "Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons" (E!, 2014-15). Throughout the run of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," Khloe's personal life also became the subject of fascination both to the media, as well as her millions of adoring fans. In 2009 Khloe married basketball star Lamar Odom, who was playing for the Lakers at the time. Their marriage suffered many highs and lows over the next several years, all of which was captured by the insatiable gossip media. The couple starred in their own reality series, "Khloe and Lamar" (E!, 2011-12), which ran for two seasons. In 2015, after mounting marital issues, Khloe filed for divorce from Odom. Kardashian withdrew her divorce petition later that year after Odom fell into a coma while visiting a brothel in Nevada. However, the divorce was soon finalized in 2016. After her divorce from Odom, Khloe began dating basketball star Tristan Thompson. Khloe gave birth to their daughter in 2018, but the couple split in early 2019 over rumors that Thompson cheated while Khloe was pregnant. In addition to her involvement in "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," Khloe also co-hosted the second season of the music competition show "The X-Factor" (Fox, 2011-13), and was involved in numerous business ventures, including a 2012 unisex fragrance she released with then-husband Odom called "Unbreakable Joy." In September of 2019 the 17th season of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" premiered with Khloe and the rest of her family returning to star. Having been on the air for over 10 years and airing over 240 episodes, by 2019 the show had well earned its title of one of the most successful reality TV shows ever to grace the airwaves.
