Disney’s ‘Big Hero 6,’ based on the Marvel manga, features a cast of likable characters that are certain to become fan favorites. With these heroes set to hit theaters on November 7, let's get to know the team.
Hiro Hamada
Robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada (voiced by Ryan Potter) has the mind of a genius and the heart of a 14-year-old. When a tragic event interrupts his plans to attend the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, he turns to a robot named Baymax and, together, they lead a band of high-tech heroes on a mission to save their city.
Baymax
Baymax (voiced by Scott Adsit) is the movie’s first all-vinyl robot/”Healthcare Companion.” He also happens to be Hiro’s best friend. And with a bit of awesome reprogramming that includes a rocket fist, thrusters and super strength, Baymax becomes the biggest member of the Big Hero 6.
GoGo Tomago
A woman of few words, GoGo Tomago is tough, athletic and loyal to the bone. The daredevil adrenaline junkie is at her best on wheels, and when she joins forces with Big Hero 6, she rolls like never before -- using maglev discs as wheels, shields and throwing weapons.
Wasabi
Wasabi (voiced by Damon Wayans, Jr.) is a gentle giant who just happens to be an awesome martial artist. At first, Wasabi is reluctant to join the team, but he can’t pass up a chance to use his signature plasma blade weapons.
Fred
This sign-twirling, monster-loving, comic-book aficionado may seem like a laid-back dude, but when Hiro needs him, Fred (voiced by T.J. Miller) is more than ready to enlist. It also helps that, when needed, Fred wields a fire-breathing... well, thing … that comes in handy.
Honey Lemon
All good teams need a science whiz, and that’s where Honey Lemon (voiced by Genesis Rodriguez) comes in. But don’t let her glasses and funky fashion fool, she’s more than capable in the field – especially when tapped to use her chemistry expertise.
Tadashi Hamada
Tadashi (voiced by Daniel Henney) is Hiro’s brother and the creator of the robot Baymax. Loving, warm and compassionate, he’s the kind of sibling that every kid needs looking out for them.
Cass Hamada
Always ready with a smile and a hug, Cass Hamada (voiced by Maya Rudolph) is the overworked aunt of brothers Hiro and Tadashi. The owner of a popular San Fransokyo bakery and coffee shop, Aunt Cass thinks the world of her two genius nephews and supports them unconditionally.
Yokai
All hero teams need a big bad, and that’s Yokai (voiced by Charles Adler). This masked super villain is the cause of a massive tragedy that strikes Hiro’s city, forcing our hero and his robot pal to rally the troops. Their mission? Hunt down Yokai and bring him to justice.
