Frost/Nixon - Drama - 12/5

Ron Howard directs this adaptation of the electrifying stageplay written by Peter Morgan (The Queen, The Last King of Scotland), a recounting of the weeks leading up to, and including, the 1977 interview between Richard Nixon and British television personality David Frost. It was Nixon's first interview after being forced from office, and a pivotal one in the lives of both men. Frank Langella and Michael Sheen reprise their roles from the play.

Punisher: War Zone - Action - 12/5

The latest version of The Punisher finds Matt Holloway in the role of vigilante Frank Castle, now pitted against a mob boss he left horribly disfigured...who's going by the nickname Jigsaw. With the "Punisher" task force on his tale and the FBI ineffective in their efforts to stop Jigsaw, it's up to Castle to put the villain, and his formidable army of minions, down for good.

Doubt - Drama - 12/12

Amy Adams, Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman co-star in a intense drama about a young nun (Adams) who's caught in the middle of a tense conflict when a Bronx Catholic school principal (Streep) accuses a priest (Hoffman) of pedophilia.

The Day the Earth Stood Still - Sci-Fi/Thriller - 12/12

20th Century Fox updates the 1951 classic, with Keanu Reeves now claiming the iconic role of Klaatu, an alien visitor and self-described "friend to man." While governments and officials scramble to figure out what it all means, Jennifer Connelly and her young stepson become key figures in understanding the full reasons for Klaatu's appearance.

The Brothers Bloom - Crime Drama - 12/19

Academy favorites Rachel Weisz, Adrien Brody and Mark Ruffalo star in this international tale about the conman adventures of two brothers, whose latest plot involves the bilking of an heiress convinced she's joined the duo and their accomplice on a thrilling, once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Seven Pounds - Drama - 12/19

Will Smith partners with the filmmaking team behind his The Pursuit of Happyness on the story of a man who changes the lives of seven strangers. Rosario Dawson and Woody Harrelson co-star.

The Tale of Desperaux - Animation/Fantasy - 12/19

Set in a time long ago and a kingdom faraway, this animated adventure recounts the legend of Despereaux, a brave and noble mouse who, along with his fellow outcast, the good-hearted rat Roscuro, proves to all the land that it's not what you look like that matters, but who you are. Matthew Broderick and Robbie Coltrane provide the voices in the family-friendly fable.

Yes Man - Comedy - 12/19

Jim Carrey plays a man whose "no" motto is taking him nowhere. A self help program causes a seismic shift in his life when "no" becomes "yes" to anything and everything. Now, the guy's willingness to embrace all things gets him a job promotion, a new romance and a few things he didn't expect.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - Fantasy/Drama - 12/25

Director David Fincher casts Brad Pitt as the title character in this curious fantasy drama about a man who is born in his eighties at the end of World War I, and ages backwards into the twenty-first century. Cate Blanchett co-stars as one of the true loves he meets on his journey acrosss time, life and death.

Bedtime Stories - Adventure/Comedy - 12/25

Adam Sandler's latest features the funnyman as a hotel handyman whose bedtime stories to his niece and nephew start to mysteriously come true. Sandler figures he'll use this phenomenon to try to better his life, but the kids keep throwing him curveballs with their own unique contributions to the tale.

One year after Hurricane Katrina, high school basketball coach Al Collins (Forest Whitaker) from Marrero, Louisiana, assembles a team of players from five different schools, and guides them on an inspirational path to the state championship.

Marley & Me - Comedy/Drama - 12/25

Based on the best-selling book, this comedy-drama tells the story of Marley, a Labrador Retriever, who teaches his family (including parents Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston) some important lessons during his thirteen-year life span.

The Spirit - Action/Adventure - 12/25

Comic book legend Frank Miller (Sin City, 300) directs this adapatation of fellow comic auteur Will Eisner's series about a cop (Gabriel Macht) who returns from the dead to fight crime in Central City. His nemesis, The Octopus (Samuel L. Jackson), pursues his own version of immortality.

Valkyrie - Action/Drama - 12/26

Tom Cruise headlines an international cast in this true story of Col. Claus von Stauffenberg, who led a German resistance during World War II in a plot to overthrow Hitler called Operation Valkyrie. It involved trying to plant a bomb in Hitler's bunker, and replace the regime with a shadow government. Stauffenberg was assigned not only to lead the coup, but to kill Hitler himself.

Revolutionary Road - Drama - 12/26

Leo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet reunite for this drama set in 1955 Connecticut. American Beauty's Sam Mendes captures the duo as a listsless suburban couple, whose lies build to an explosive consequence.
