'Evil' Movies: Films with the word "Evil" in the title

As 'Deliver Us from Evil' proves, when it comes to words that induce fear in the minds of moviegoers, “Evil” is one of the best.  Check out the wide range of films that have previously utilized this spine-chilling word.

Proving that the only way to fight evil is with evil, a retired killer for hire comes out of retirement to kill a man who killed his hitman friend who was trying to kill the man who killed him when he got killed. That’s “Evil."

This Garry Marshall comedy tells the tale of how a beautiful woman persuades the meanest man in the West to switch careers, hopefully making him less “Evil.”

It seems that “Evil” dwells in this house because years ago a samurai warrior came home and discovered his wife in bed with another man, so he killed them both and then killed himself.  Yeah, that’s “Evil.”

Turning America’s New Year’s Eve celebration into a celebratory butchering for a crazed killer is, in plain words, just “Evil”!

Directed by Clint Eastwood, this off-the-wall film tells the story of how a magazine reporter stumbled upon the strangest Southern murder trial of all time.  

Sam Raimi blew away film audiences when he made this cult classic back in 1981.  Since then there have been multiple sequels, with each being more “Evil” than the last.

Filled with zombies, viruses, and mutated lab animals, this film features more “Evil” than all the other “Evil” movies on this list combined.

When the penniless Baron Frankenstein tries to continue his experiments, he mistakenly relies on the services of a greedy mesmerist who turns out to be “Evil.”

If you are a young couple looking to buy a home, whatever you do, don’t buy one in the deep woods, otherwise you might end up like the couple in this flick and discover that the place is “Evil.”

It wouldn’t be a full list of “Evil” movies without including the one and only Dr. Evil!  Originally titled “The Return of Dr. Evil” -- the film sent Austin on a mission to get back his mojo after the good doctor stole it. Yeah, baby, that’s “Evil”!
