Sharks can be many things: vicious predators, horror-movie icons, tasty battered-fried treats when served with tartar sauce (okay not really)...Here are some of the best shark moments in film.

JAWS (1975)

Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster features some of the most memorable shark moments of all time – the skinny-dipping beauty dragged underwater by a lurking shark, the Great White taking a huge bite out of the boat, and then the predator’s ultimate climactic demise.

SHARKNADO (2013)

This cheesy campfest (and we say that in a good way) quickly became a cult favorite, earning killer ratings and surprisingly positive reviews. Seriously, Ian Ziering chain sawing his way out of a shark? How awesome is that?!

DESPICABLE ME 2 (2013)
