This is director Zack Snyder. Earlier this summer, he brought Superman back to theaters across America (and most of the world) in Man of Steel and with it, raised a lot of questions about the mass carnage seen in the latter half of the movie.
The film recently opened in Japan, one of the final markets the film is being released in and looks to add to its $650 million summer bounty.
During a press conference where he was joined by star Henry Cavill and wife-producer Debroah Snyder and coproducer Charles Roven, Snyder addressed the carnage seen in his movie. The quotes below come from The Japan Times.
