For the past week, Universal Studios Orlando had been quietly cooking up a major announcement for an upcoming attraction. Today, the theme park announced that the hugely successful Transformers ride attraction will be opening at Universal Studios Florida in 2013.
The studio has worked closely with director Michael Bay to create an authentic experience that brings the non-stop action of the film franchise to life.
The ride opened at Universal Studios Hollywood earlier this year and uses sophisticated special effects created by Industrial Light & Magic.
