Here are a bunch of little bites to satisfy your hunger for movie culture:

Fake Commercial of the Day:

Saturday Night Live perfectly parodied Jordan Peele’s hit horror movie Us, which involves characters meeting evil doppelgängers, by also making the sketch a parody of the Discover Card’s "We treat you like you'd treat you” ad campaign. Watch the fake commercial starring Ego Nwodim and Keenan Thompson:

Supercut of the Day:

The doppelgänger element of Jordan Peele’s Us also inspired this supercut from editor Monsieur Kwikwaju compiling the best scenes of characters facing agains their doubles in movies, including Annihilation, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Matrix, Terminator 2 and a couple Alien sequels:

Fan Art of the Day:

Us also continues to inspire fan art galore. The artist behind this piece might not think it’s her best work, but we think it’s pretty fantastic (pun intended) and perfectly captures what an animated version of the movie might look like (so the kids can appreciate the story, of course!):

Actor in the Spotlight:

Dumbo topped the box office over the weekend, and its success has potentially made more fans of actress Eva Green, who plays the high-flying Colette Marchant in the live-action reimagining. For IMDb’s No Small Parts, Brandon Hardesty showcases the movie and TV work of the versatile actress, starting with her debut in The Dreamers:

Cosplay of the Day:

Speaking of Disney classics, what do you get when you cross Rapunzel from Tangled with Marvel’s Thor? Here’s some mashup cosplay that may not inspire a movie crossover — though both characters are in the Mouse House — but will make you smile:

Remade Movie Trailer of the Day:

What if Marvel decided to make the next Avengers movie an animated feature? Darth Blender shows us what that could have looked liked by replacing the visuals of the latest Avengers: Endgame trailer with footage from a few of Marvel’s cartoons, including the Guardians of the Galaxy animated series:

Casting Rendering of the Day:

Speaking of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we know that one of the next movies on Marvel’s slate following Avengers: Endgame is The Eternals, and we’ve just heard news that Angelina Jolie is in talks to star. While her potential role hasn’t been revealed yet, most fans assume she’ll be playing the Eternal named Sersi, so here’s BossLogic’s interpretation of what Jolie could look like in the part:

Character Comparison of the Day:

Who would win in a fight, Marvel’s Thor or DC’s Aquaman? Not until these superheroes got their own movies did they seem so evenly matched. But this video from Adeel of Steel compares scenes of Thor in various Marvel Cinematic Universe installments with clips from Aquaman side by side to show their similarities as “worthy kings”:

April Fool’s Fake Out of the Day:

Speaking of Aquaman, DC and Warner Bros. just released the first trailer for Aquaman 2. No, sorry, that was an April Fool’s Day prank from the studio as a clever way to remind fans that the next installment of the DC Extended Universe is out in theaters this week. Here’s the Aquaman 2 tease turned Shazam! commercial:

Classic Movie Trailer of the Day:

Given that Shazam! is heavily influenced by the Tom Hanks fantasy comedy Big, which also inspired the upcoming movie Little, let’s look back at the Penny Marshall-helmed classic. Courtesy of MovieClips, here is the original trailer for the movie, which opened in theaters on June 3, 1988:
