Replacing Tom Cruise in the lead role, Jordan will play a man who has lived for more than 400 years, all the while attaining a great amount of intelligence and skills.
Us success could lead to a sequel: Jordan’s Black Panther co-stars Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke had the biggest movie at the box office last weekend with Us, and Jordan Peele’s horror hit is building more than just a stack of profits. Us is spawning discussions of its twist ending as well as teases of a potential sequel or spinoff opportunities. Death returns in Bill & Ted 3: Following last week’s confirmation of a release date for Bill & Ted Face the Music, the third installment of the Bill & Ted franchise, actor William Sadler was revealed via Twitter to be reprising his Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey role as Death for the sequel. Joel Coen to direct Macbeth: Speaking of iconic duos, Joel and Ethan Coen are temporarily parting ways so that the former can go solo to direct a Shakespeare adaptation with his two-time Oscar winner wife, Frances McDormand. She will star as Lady Macbeth in a version of Macbeth, according to Deadline, with Denzel Washington filling the other lead role.
