Horror fans have a bit to choose from this weekend, including the latest feature from Ti West (The House of the Devil). Jenna Ortega (Scream) and Mia Goth (Suspiria) are among its stars. Then there’s Iris K. Shim’s Umma, in which Sandra Oh plays a woman haunted by her recently deceased mother.
For something a little more serious but still plenty violent, you can check out The Outfit. Oscar-winning actor Mark Rylance (Bridge of Spies) stars in the crime drama as an English tailor who has relocated to Chicago, where he primarily makes suits for gangsters. Also, Keke Palmer (Hustlers) stars in Alice, a crime thriller in which she plays a woman seeking revenge against the Georgia plantation owner who enslaved her.
Last but not least, this Saturday night only, Fandango is presenting a sneak preview of the new romantic action comedy The Lost City starring Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum. The movie follows a romance novelist (Bullock) who is kidnapped by a billionaire (Daniel Radcliffe) and forced to help him find the titular location. Tatum plays a not-so-bright model who attempts to rescue her. The one and only Brad Pitt also co-stars.
