It’s going to be a very busy week for James Mangold’s The Wolverine, which (finally) is going to have its first full trailer attached to G.I. Joe: Retaliation, opening in theaters on Thursday, March 28.
But that’s not all. In anticipation of the official Wolverine tease, 20th Century Fox shared a number of exclusive photos with EW.com, including our first looks at his love interest Mariko (Tao Okamoto) and multiple looks at Yukio (Rila Fukushima).“At the time this movie opens, there’s a kind of gangland war going on between law enforcement and the Yakuza, and there’s been a lot of kidnappings and extortion. So [Mariko is] someone who’s under threat,” Mangold says. Click here for even more stills:
You think we’re finished? We’re not finished. Fox shared two new posters for The Wolverine, which we have for you below. The top one is the new domestic one sheet, wile the bottom one was made for UK audiences.
The Wolverine opens on July 26 in 2D and 3D theaters. Brace for more Wolverine content as the week rolls on.
