Last month we got our first glimpse at the hard-hitting sequel to Gareth Evans' cult action flick The Raid. While the teaser didn't reveal much (aside from the violent snippets of Raid action sequences), Yahoo's Indonesian site has revealed the first full trailer for The Raid 2: Berandal.
The new trailer reveals star Iko Uwais going undercover to infiltrate a ruthless Jakarta crime syndicate in order to protect his family. Along the way he uncovers corruption in his police force and exhilarating action sequences unfold.
Since the release of the teaser, Screen Gems has since pegged a March 28 release date for the sequel. The film will pick up at the conclusion of the first film, which you can catch up on via home video or by streaming.
If these first few trailers are any indication, The Raid 2 may be one of the early breakout hits of 2014.
