All last week we ran a number of different movie polls leading up to the official start of the 2010 summer moviegoing season. Now I'm back to announce the results of those polls, but before I do I have to thank each and every one of you for voting and sending in your comments. Summer Poll: Which Summer Blockbuster Will Make the Most Money? (Full results here)
Winner: Iron Man 2 (51.4 %)
Runner Up: The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (18.4%)
Do They Deserve The Win: Yes, definitely. Iron Man 2 is a perfect example of summer escapism, with some really fun action sequences, lots of cool special effects, and a cast that keeps you entertained the entire time. Not to mention … hey, I don't think I could ever get tired of watching Scarlett Johansson in that Black Widow costume.
Summer Poll: Which rapper-turned-actor are you most looking forward to seeing on the screen this summer? (Full results here)
Winner: Mark Wahlberg (77.8 %)
Runner Up: Sean "P. Diddy" Combs (3.8 %)
Do They Deserve The Win: Wahlberg absolutely demolished the competition, proving he's still the reigning champion when it comes to rapper-turned-actors. And yes, he does deserve the win. Hopefully by taking on a silly comedy like The Other Guys, Wahlberg – who tends to come off as a little too serious in most of his roles -- will show us whether or not he actually belongs in a silly comedy.

Do They Deserve The Win: Well, considering I picked Ken to win because I'm a huge Michael Keaton fan (and Keaton voices the character), I'd say he definitely deserves the win. Here's hoping this role paves the way for a huge Keaton comeback. And speaking of …

Do They Deserve The Win: If you read my previous entry, then you know what I'm about to say here. Of course Keaton deserves to win – he's unbelievably awesome and is in need of a big-screen comeback, like, yesterday.
Summer Poll: Which Summer Movie Actor is Going to be the Breakout Star of Tomorrow? (Full results here)
Winner: Alex Pettyfer, Beastly (46%)
Runner Up: Christopher Egan, Letters to Juliet (16%)
Do They Deserve The Win: Honestly, I'm not all too familiar with Pettyfer or Egan (I actually thought Jaden Smith would win, but he came in third), so I'm probably not the best person to judge this category. But since Pettyfer is the star of Summit Entertainment's next big film (ie: Beastly), I could see why he won. The biggest surprise for me, honestly, was that Ashley Greene (Eclipse) didn't pull in more than 9% of the votes. In my opinion, she's about to break out in a big way, but this round will go to Pettyfer.
