Skyfall opens in the UK today with critics proclaiming it one of the best Bond movies ever. While we wait to see how British movie-goers react to the latest Bond film, EON Productions is getting the ball rolling on the next Bond film.
Deadline is reporting that Skyfall co-writer John Logan is set to write the next two Bond films. The Bond franchise may venture into new territory though as the site reports that the two films are being designed and pitched as a multi-film arc.
Up until now, the character has dealt with each threat within a single film, though certain overall villains and themes have crossed into multiple installments. With Daniel Craig contracted for two more Bond films, this multi-film arc may conclude with Craig's exit to the franchise.
Bond 24 is aiming to being production next fall for a fall 2014 release. There is no storyline or title at this point and there likely won't be one for quite some time.
Skyfall opens in the U.S. on November 9.
