The Critics' Choice Awards were presented last night, representing selections by The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) and Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA). Alfonso Cuaron's Roma received four awards, the most by any film this year.
This awards season has seen a number of films gaining recognition and last night's show was no exception. While Roma was awarded prizes for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography and Best Foreign Language Film, Black Panther and Vice each received three awards. Glenn Close and Lady Gage shared the award for Best Actress; Christian Bale was named Best Actor, Mahershala Ali Best Supporting Actor and Regina King Best Supporting Actress.
