Star Trek 3: News broke last week that the legendary characters of James T. Kirk (William Shatner) and Mr. Spock (Leonard Nimoy) had been written into the script for the upcoming Star Trek 3. Shatner quickly responded via social media: "Nobody has contacted me," but then producer J.J. Abrams called to ask if he was interested. Shatner said, in part: "Yeah, if it is meaningful." The Janson Directive: We heard back in July that Dwayne Johnson was in talks to star in The Janson Directive, based on a novel by Robert Ludlum (the Bourne series), and now the actor has confirmed via social media that he is ready to "roll," creating a photo mock-up for the role.
