Doctor Strange: The latest great casting addition for Marvel's big-screen take on the Sorcerer Supreme is Amy Landecker, currently best known for her role on Amazon's award-winning series Transparent. While her part is unknown, she'll potentially get to reunite on-screen with her A Serious Man star Michael Stuhlberg in the comic book adaptation, which is currently shooting and is due in theaters on November 4, 2016. Snowpiercer: Speaking of movies starring Tilda Swinton, Bong Joon Ho's cult favorite Snowpiercer will be turned into a TV series by writer Josh Friedman, who previously brought The Terminator to the small screen via The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The postapocalyptic sci-fi movie was itself adapted from a French graphic novel titled Le Transperceneige. [THR]

 

Alien: Paradise Lost: Screenwriter John Logan, a three-time Oscar nominee for his work on Hugo, The Aviator and Ridley Scott's Gladiator, is currently working with Scott on the latest draft for the Prometheus sequel/Alien prequel Alien: Paradise Lost. Logan also wrote the new James Bond movie SPECTRE. We'll see what they came up with when the movie releases on May 30, 2017. [/Film

 

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 Trailer: Nia Vardalos finally returns with the follow-up to her enormous 2002 hit. This time the wedding is for her character's parents, who turn out to have never been officially wed. Meanwhile her and John Corbett's daughter, played by Elena Kampouris, is having her own trouble with her big fat Greek family. The sequel hits theaters on March 25. [Movieclips]
