We all got a good sneak peek at the Batmobile in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice when the filmmaker revealed a teaser picture a few months back. Now, we’ve got an even bigger reveal, thanks to enterprising fans observing filming on the streets of Detroit.
Instagram user Amacro13 snapped several photos of what appears to be the Batmobile sitting on a Detroit street during a break in filming. The photos are a little blurry, but if you’re hankering for a longer look at Batman’s new ride, you should like what you see in these images.
The new Batmobile looks pretty stout with its fat tires and sharp angles. As /Film points out, the design bears more than a bit of a resemblance to the one featured in Arkham Knight, with its low profile and cockpit design. The car in the pictures sure is dirty, too – you’d think Bruce Wayne would find time to run the Batmobile through a car wash once in a while. I mean, surely he can afford it.
Are you digging this design or did you have something else in mind for the new vehicle?

And now for something completely different, yet sort of similar.
A pilot from Popham Airfield’s Airbourne Aviation school was flying about minding his own business when he spotted the image below. Could it be that J.J. Abrams and crew are in town shooting Episode VII? We can’t think of any other good reason for a half-built life-size Millennium Falcon to be sitting out in the open, but do keep in mind there's no confirmation regarding this one.
Twitter user Alber KOTG DJ’s tweeted the following:
