The upcoming Captain America: Civil War will see superheroes pitted against superheroes, which should prove to be an interesting dilemma for movie fans who have been rooting for their favorite superpowered characters to defeat villainous foes.
The movie begins where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, with Steve Rogers, aka Captain America (Chris Evans), training a new team of Avengers to defend mankind. But a major incident occurs and involves more collateral damage, leading national governments to insist on a new system of accountability for the Avengers. Captain America resists the idea, while Tony Stark, aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), is rather surprisingly in favor of government oversight.
We've already had peeks at the many heroes who will be fighting with and against each other. New images from Marvel (via Collider) provide new angles on the leading characters. At top, we see Iron Man and his trusted ally War Machine (Don Cheadle). Below, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) can be seen in action and also on the set.
Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Captain America (Chris Evans) discuss a scene with directors Joe and Anthony Russo on the set.

Finally, here's Team Iron Man: Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Black Widow, War Machine (Don Cheadle) and Vision (Paul Bettany).
Captain America: Civil War will smash into theaters on May 6.
