Moviegoer Poll is a weekly theater-related discussion post here at Fandango where we talk about the past, present and future of moviegoing.

Last week a ton of you chimed in and told us which 2012 movie you had the most fun watching on the big screen inside a theater, and this week I'm back with another year-end question, except I want to focus on the movie theaters themselves instead.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will bring us back to Middle-earth for the first time since 2003 this weekend, but it'll also introduce the world to the first feature film shot entirely in 48fps, which is twice the normal frame rate of 24fps. With IMAX and 3D already altering the big-screen experience, 48fps (or HFR) will also look to usher in a new kind of moviegoing experience that's more exciting and immersive than ever before.

Obviously all these new ways of watching movies has made your choice of where you watch movies all that more important. So use this space as an opportunity to tell us about the best movie theater you visited this year. Let us know the theater, where it's located and why it's so memorable. Oh, and enjoy watching The Hobbit, no matter which way you choose to experience it!
