Han Solo: Director Ron Howard shared a photo of actor Paul Bettany (Captain America: Civil War, above) on the set of the Han Solo movie (below) and captioned it: "The Outer Rim just got a little bit wilder." Bettany replied: "It's a dream come true." One report claimed he has replaced Michael K. Williams, who was not available for reshoots, while another report says he's playing a new character. Indiana Jones 5: David Koepp (Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull) says he has written a script for the upcoming fifth installment in the Indiana Jones series, but that Mutt Williams (Shia LaBeouf, above with Harrison Ford), aka the son of Indiana Jones, "is not in the film." Koepp says: "We’ve got a script we’re mostly happy with. Work will be endless, of course, and ongoing." The new movie is scheduled for release on July 10, 2020. [EW.com]
The Crow Reborn: Sony has agreed to distribute a new screen version of James O'Barr's graphic novel The Crow. Long in development, the plan is to make a more faithful adaptation. Jason Momoa (Bullet to the Head, above) and director Corin Hardy were previously attached to the project; their involvement is now up in the air. [The Tracking Board]
