While interest (or shall we call it curiosity) continues to build for the Spider-Man franchise reboot, we haven't seen much of the film's lead villain – Lizard.

Played by Rhys Ifans, Lizard aka Dr. Curtis Connors, was a gifted surgeon who went into war to help his country. His arm was injured in a blast and had to be amputated. He eventually became interested in the secrets of reptilian regeneration and created a serum taken from the DNA of a reptile. After successful tests on lab animals and warnings from his wife, Connors ingested the serum. His arm grew back, but the serum's one side effect transformed him into a reptilian monster.

Take a look below. The Amazing Spider-Man arrives July 3. There will also be a four minute "super preview" airing on tonight's America's Got Talent. You can watch that teaser here.
