It's a good thing Star Wars Celebration is kicking off in Orlando, Florida this week because there is much celebrating to be had. The first two Star Wars movies under Disney -- The Force Awakens and Rogue One -- were two of the biggest films in recent years, and with the series touting its 40th anniversary this year, it's going to be a fun time in Orlando for those fans in attendance.
Mark Hamill and Daisy Ridley stopped by Good Morning America for a little tease ahead of the main event later this week. And while they did not bring the first footage (or trailer announcement) for the next Star Wars installment (and the Force Awakens follow-up), Star Wars: The Last Jedi (in theaters this December), they did bring with them news on the next Force for Change fundraising initiative.

As far as when we can expect to see the first footage from one of this year's most anticipated movies, the Star Wars Celebration panel for Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be held this Friday at 11:30 a.m. EST. You can expect the first official trailer to coincide with that panel. In addition, the 40th-anniversary panel for Star Wars will be on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. EST, and there may be some goodies that come out of that, too.
We'll be on the ground reporting live from this year's Star Wars Celebration, so stay tuned for more Star Wars news as it drops.
