Last week we told you how a new extended cut of Justin Bieber: Never Say Never was expected to hit theaters in early March, only a few weeks after first arriving in theaters. Now, Paramount has made it official, announcing the rerelease of Justin Bieber: Never Say Never for one week beginning February 25th, which is this weekend.

Featuring an additional 40 minutes of footage, this director’s “fan cut” will bring you more of everything, including more of Justin’s friends and hometown life, as well as new songs, performances and footage shot at fan premieres across the country. It’s being billed as the ultimate “fan cut” since director John Chu felt there was more he wanted to add in after listening to the requests of thousands of fans via various social networking channels.
It’ll be a unique experiment for sure, especially since they’re re-releasing a new cut of a film that just arrived in theaters three weeks ago. Tickets go on sale today at 5pm PST (8pm EST), so keep that in mind if you’re interested in seeing what’s been added. The new cut will have a running time of 115 minutes, and it’ll be available in RealD and digital 3D across the country this Friday.
