Justin Bieber’s ‘Never Say Never’ Hitting Theaters Again This March

By: Erik Davis on February 15, 2011 at 3:02PM Comments (15)

Though Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never literally just hit theaters this past weekend, Paramount is already preparing to re-release the film in theaters on March 4th with some additional footage. The studio has had success doing this before for the Jackass movies, using extra footage to create an additional film. However, those were all released straight to DVD, while this will be the first time they rerelease a film less than a month after it hit theaters for the first time.

Billboard tells us that Justin Bieber: Never Say Never 2.0 will feature “20 pieces of music not in the current edition,” and they say that most of the new additions came after fans commented on changes that should be made following December test screenings. So, essentially, the new footage is stuff fans wanted all along, which, assuming they promote it right, should be more than enough reason for big-time Bieber fans to want to see it again. Additionally, they announced that the Never Say Never DVD will hit stores in August.
What do you think? Are you a big enough Bieber fan to go see the film again this March?

YouTube chose to hype and falsely promote Justin Bieber by lying up his video view counts. There by fooling Usher and Paramount into believing this kid was that hot. I was so waiting for the release of Justin Bieber's Never movie so the world could see the truth. There are not enough 11 to 14 year old little girls to give him 480 Million view counts on one song! Or to make him a box office hit. Michael Jackson and others are being so disrespected by this YouTube view count HUGE lie. It is good for some of the truth to come out about the fame or should I say lesser fame of Justin Bieber.

Okay, I am tired of hearing about this boy. I have no interest in anything to do with Justin Beiber. It's getting really annoying seeing all the advertisements for this load of garbage everywhere.

I would definately take my 4 year old son to see this again! I took him over the weekend and he can't wait to see it again. As far as young entertainers, Justin Bieber has so far been a good one for him to look up to and as long as he continues to keep himself inline I willl gladly support him.

One important thing to note is that Justine Bieber's movie was a 3D movie, which tickets cost more than non-3D movies, on average at least 1/3 more. Adam Sandler's movie beat Bieber's money wise and was not 3D. Therefore, Sandler's movie had to have a greater ATTENDANCE or NUMBER OF TICKETS SOLD than Bieber's. Can not just go by the Gross Sales because of the fact that some movies are in 3D and other are not, which creates distorted analysis. Additionally, have to take into account matinee tickets sold. Just like if you had two graphs side-by-side that look identical, but the scale on one graph was greater than that of the "similar" graph, however, that little difference in scale makes a HUGE difference (usually by a significant magnitude)

To be fair to Never Say Never, it probably was a closer race than you're giving it credit for. While 3D definitely inflates the price, the crowd seeing that movie purchases a lot more discounted tickets because they get child price and tend to see the show during matinees (earlier in the day again usually with lower prices). I am pretty sure that Just Go With It still wins, but still probably a close race.

this just proves how money hungry and heartless studios are. they purposefully released it on valentines day and waited until after the first weekend to say they will add footage in 2 weeks. thanks for the heads up. now if i decide to make my ears and eyes bleed, i will wait til march 4 to do so.

Lmao, the only reason they are releasing it again to theaters is because the filmmakers were so cocky and thought it was going to be number 1 at the box office but instead got beat by a cheesy Adam Sandler film of all things. If Adam Sandler can beat Bieber then so can anything else. They should just accept their failure and accept the fact that Bieber is a talentless loser and leave it be. He didn't win the box office and he didn't win at the Grammy's. How many more hints do you people need? lol
