Threatening to jangle the nerves of everyone who has ever been seized by the frightening power of fear, It Chapter Two finds the Losers Club all grown up, as embodied by Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, James Ransone, Jay Ryan, Isiah Mustafa and Andy Bean. Some 27 years after they first encountered a terrifying figure of pure evil, known as Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård), they have settled into adulthood with varying degrees of success. Until, that is, a phone call brings devastating news and an urgent call for them to reunite in a place where they never wanted to return.
In our exclusive featurette, author Stephen King describes It as "an old-fashioned movie experience, where you root for the good guys." Director Andy Muschietti explains his goal: "Tonally, the movie will feel just like the first one, but we'll crank up the horror aspects." Jessica Chastain declares: "It's more than just a horror film. It's really a coming-of-age film." Her costar James McAvoy agrees: "There's something otherworldly and magical about rediscovering the child in us."
