Plans for a Tomb Raider reboot remain on course and one of the fan favorites to take over the role is British actress Gemma Arterton. The actress certainly has her share of experience in the action genre starring in Prince of Persia, Clash of the Titans, Quantum of Solace and earlier this year in Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters.
Arterton has two films coming up in theaters in June, one of them being the vampire drama from Interview with the Vampire director/writer Neil Jordan called Byzantium. As part of the press tour, Arterton sat down with Empire magazine to answer a few Twitter questions. One of the questions asks point-blank if she would be interested in playing Lara Croft.
"If the script is good," Arterton says, before admitting that this the usual answer that actors give for prospective projects. She them talks briefly about being a fan of the video game when she was a teenager.
