Want to touch the Tumbler?

That’s a silly question. Of course you do, and if you live in one of cities lucky enough to be part of Warner Bros.’ “Tumbler Tour,” you’re going to get your chance.

The studio is sending its marketing team on the road with one of Batman’s most famous props – the armored Tumbler that Christopher Nolan first introduced in Batman Begins – so fans can check it out as they prepare for The Dark Knight Rises

Both the Tumbler and the Bat-Pod will be making stops in at least 26 cities across the country between now and July 7. The Website TumblerTour.com posted a few teaser shots of the Tumbler boarding the truck that will transport it from market to market. We have the pics (and a full tour schedule) below.

As you’ve no doubt seen from the Dark Knight Rises promotional materials, the Batmobile is transforming yet again to suit Bruce Wayne’s needs. In The Dark Knight, he exited a crippled Tumbler and sped off on a Bat-Cycle. In TDKR, we learn that his “car” isn’t really a car at all but a ship, capable of flight.

So stay tuned for specific details about where Batman’s Tumbler will be when it hits your town, and be sure to grab tickets to see Nolan’s final installment of the classic Dark Knight trilogy when it opens everywhere on July 20.
