It was a silly little comedy back in 2001 that seemed destined to hit the deep discount bargain bins almost immediately after it arrived in theaters. However, over the years Ben Stiller's Zoolander has turned into quite the cult hit – so much so that he's decided to reprise the clueless fashion model character in a sequel.

Ben Stiller in 'Zoolander'

According to Deadline Hollywood, Paramount and Ben Stiller are teaming up for a PG-13 rated Zoolander 2, and Justin Theroux (who wrote Tropic Thunder and Iron Man 2) will help with writing the script alongside Stiller, in part, by traveling to Fashion Week in Paris to learn about what's hip, hot and worth a shout out on the big screen.

DH says Owen Wilson will most likely be back (though he hasn't signed on yet), and Jonah Hill – who seems to be popping up in everything these days – is in talks to play the villain. Seeing as Hill is as far from the male model type as they come, I wonder if they have something different planned for him. Either that, or he's about to become one of the stranger plus-size male models we've ever seen. (Then again, do plus-size male models even exist?)

I dig it. Fashion is popular right now, what with shows like Project Runway and America's Next Top Model, and I could totally see Stiller and Theroux taking advantage of that and coming up with a really funny concept. I do wonder, though, whether Zoolander 2 will follow in its predecessor's footsteps and find more success on DVD than in theaters.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Zoolander? Would you support a sequel?
