It's almost impossible for me to narrow down the year's film slate to five films since there are literally hundreds of films being released, but I tried to narrow it down to five that people will surely be talking about around the water cooler once they finally hit theaters. These aren't necessarily the biggest or best films 2010 has to offer, but, in my opinion, they may turn out to be five of the most entertaining flicks to hit screens between now and next December 31.
Iron Man 2, Inception, Kick-Ass
any indie movie! and that inception one looks mighty interesting.
srsly a movie about how facebook or myspace got started in the top five, just because a lot of people uses the site that makes it a 'must see' movie? next year will we see a movie about how google got started, then people would ask for the rise and fall of yahoo!?
Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows pt 1, Iron Man 2, and Harry Potter again and again. And again. :)
I agree with the comment about the Myspace story I would rather see that. At first I thought my space was boring and like they said on He is Just Not that into You "ITs the new booty call" quoting the movie...lol I found great friends and I found the love of mylife. Dont think I am a dork or ugly as a matter a fact Ive had an adventurous life and had different types of relationships but honestly I think myspace works better when it comes to meeting and getting to know someone and great to share pics with. Thank you TOM for creating a wonderful social network.
Uh...how can you say that the first Iron Man rocked AND say that the origin story was boring? That was the whole narrative of the first movie! Get your head on straight, man.
Iron Mn II, is going to be awesome in My opinion... Return to main stream stardom, Robert Downey Jr. fell and raised to "Super Hero" status!!! Mickey Rourke has been looked down on for years! The Wrestler, an epic, As "Super Anti-Hero" in this New film shall again give Rourke the respect He has always deserved! Watch with Wonderment and an Open Mind- Be a Kid again,
Both Downey Jr. and Rourke will BLOW YOUR MIND!!! hehehe
I am looking forward to The Book of Eli.
My 5 are: Legion, Iron Man 2, Death at a Funeral, Date Night, and Daybreakers.
Daybreakers was good because it wasn’t a romance vampire flick like Twilight-saw it a couple months back @ a screening. Comes out Friday [BLOCKED WEBSITE]
Looking forward to all these movies except Social Network. I'm looking forward to Alice in Wonderland more.
1. Iron Man 2. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I. 3.Inception. 4. The Green Hornet. 5. Shrek Forever After.
I'd be much more interested in a film about the origin of MySpace. 1.) It was the first social networking phenomenon (before Facebook). 2.) It was created by one, pretty regular guy (not Harvard dudes) 3.) It would be a more compelling story since it had both a drastic rise and fall in popularity, yet Tom managed to capitalize off of both - due to savvy business deals with News Corp.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
