Unscrupulous groovy playboy newscaster John Phillip Law ends up in a power struggle for control of the network when head Robert Ryan has a heart attack. His young wife (Dyan Cannon) is hot for Law, but he has his hands full with a lover/model who commits suicide, twins who happen to be in his shower when his bedroom catches fire and then there is his gay photographer buddy (David Hemmings) who has the last tape recording of the dead model.
