When a tiny, injured and starving baby elephant was found near Hosur in southern India, forest officers needed to act fast. Found at just two months old, after his mother died due to severe drought, baby Raghu craved social interaction as much as he needed food and physical care to survive. A married couple, Boman and Bellie, agreed to be his new family. This doc follows Raghu as he gets to know them and captures the beautiful bond that emerges. Viewers will get to know Raghu's many moods and needs. We’ll see him at times playful, angry, frustrated, loving, demanding and always growing. With this complex range of emotions, we’ll experience the joy and challenges that Boman and Bellie face as they raise their oversized son. A newborn elephant already weighs more than 90 kg and - as we discover in the film - they grow very fast.
