In this musical, Nikki Martin (Lily Pons) is an opera star about to enter an arranged marriage with a financier in Paris. Suddenly, she decides to make a run for it. Although he doesn't reciprocate her feelings at first, she follows the band -- hiding in an ocean liner -- all the way to New York.
