The breakout character from ‘Suicide Squad’ is back in a movie that's all her own. Well, she has some new friends supporting her in the effort: DC Comics’ Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya. Margot Robbie reprises her titular antihero role while Ewan McGregor co-stars as the villainous crime lord known as Black Mask.

ONWARD (MARCH 6)
Set in a world populated with all kinds of fantasy creatures, the latest animated feature from Pixar follows a pair of elf brothers as they venture out of the comforts of suburban life for a magical adventure. Tom Holland and Chris Pratt voice the duo, whose quest begins with a discovery involving their late father.

A QUIET PLACE PART II (MARCH 20)
When we last saw the Abbott family, they had just learned how to defeat terrifying sound-sensitive creatures, but more were headed their way. Will the sequel show what happens next? The plot is a secret, though with John Krasinski back at the helm, again directing Emily Blunt, the follow-up promises to be just as chilling.

MULAN (MARCH 27)
Let’s get down to business...to highlight Disney’s next live-action reimagining. The 1998 animated feature of the same name is reworked as a historical fantasy starring Yifei Liu as the legendary Chinese hero who masquerades as a male soldier. The action-focused adaptation also stars martial arts icons Donnie Yen, Jet Li and Jason Scott Lee.

NO TIME TO DIE (APRIL 10)
Daniel Craig is Bond, James Bond, once more for the 25th installment of the franchise. This time, the recently retired 007 is pulled back into duty to face a tech-based villain played by recent Oscar winner Rami Malek (‘Bohemian Rhapsody’). Lashana Lynch co-stars as a new MI6 agent with double-o status.

BLACK WIDOW (MAY 1)
One of Earth’s mightiest heroes finally gets her own movie, as Scarlett Johansson suits up again as the Avenger known as Black Widow in this solo outing that kicks off Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Florence Pugh and Rachel Weisz co-star as fellow “Black Widow” agents from Natasha’s past life as a KGB operative.

FAST & FURIOUS 9 (MAY 22)
Justin Lin, who directed the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth installments of the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise returns to the helm for number nine. The cast is also back to basics with Vin Diesel leading the charge, but the sequel does introduce some new blood played by the likes of John Cena and Cardi B.

WONDER WOMAN 1984 (JUNE 5)
Leaving the World War I setting of the first movie decades behind, this DC comic book movie sequel finds Amazonian superhero Diana Prince (Gal Gadot), a.k.a .Wonder Woman, living in the awesome ‘80s. Her totally outrageous adversaries include the feline foe Cheetah (Kristen Wiig) and the businessman baddie Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal).

TOP GUN: MAVERICK (JUNE 26)
Tom Cruise feels the need -- the need for speed -- with this long-awaited sequel to his hit 1986 action movie ‘Top Gun.’ He reprises his role as bad boy pilot Pete Mitchell, a.k.a. “Maverick,” now a flight instructor, while Miles Teller co-stars as the now grown-up son of his late radar intercept officer “Goose.”

GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE (JUL. 10)
Three decades after the events in 'Ghostbusters II,' a family (Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace) discovers their connection to the original fighters against supernatural creatures. Paul Rudd also stars; Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts and Sigourney Weaver will be reprising their roles.

TENET (JUL. 17)
Described as an action-thriller, the next film from Christopher Nolan ('Interstellar,' 'Dunkirk') remains clouded in secrecy, but it's fair to say that we are very excited to see where Nolan will take us. John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki and Michael Caine are confirmed to star.

Riverboat captain Dwayne Johnson takes scientist Emily Blunt and her brother Jack Whitehall on a very adventurous cruise to find the legendary Tree of Life, deep in a jungle that is filled with unexpected perils. They must race the clock to beat a rival expedition to the healing treasure.

BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC (AUG. 21)
Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter reprise their goofy, yet beloved time-traveling characters. Now middle-aged, the former slackers must create a new song to save all life on Earth and, in fact, the entire universe. Clearly, they will need a little help from their friends.

HALLOWEEN KILLS (OCT. 16)
The creative team that rejuvenated the classic 'Halloween' franchise in 2018 picks up the story after the disturbing events in that horror-thriller. Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her starring role as Laurie Strode, joined once again by Judy Greer as her daughter and Andi Matichak as her granddaughter.

ETERNALS (NOV. 6)
The Marvel Cinematic Universe expands, showcasing an ancient, immortal alien race that protects humanity against an evil alien race. Angelina Jolie leads an ensemble cast that includes Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan and Kit Harrington.

GODZILLA VS. KONG (NOVEMBER 20)
Get ready for literally the biggest brawl of the year when the King of the Monsters takes on the Eighth Wonder of the World. What more do you need to know than the title? It’s Godzilla versus King Kong. Let them fight! There are humans in the movie, too, including Millie Bobby Brown and Alexander Skarsgård.

DUNE (DEC. 18)
Acclaimed director Denis Villeneuve ('Arrival,' 'Blade Runner 2049') refashions Frank Herbert's classic science-fiction novel, starring Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar isaac, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Zendaya and Jason Momoa. Expect spicy visions, tangled conspiracies and giant sandworms.

COMING 2 AMERICA (DEC. 18)
Eddie Murphy and director Craig Brewer ('Dolemite Is My Name') reteam for a comedy that sees Prince Akeem Joffer (Murphy) returning to America to meet the son (Jermaine Fowler) he never knew. Once again, he is joined by his loyal best friend Semmi (Arsenio Hall), as well as a slew of familiar funny faces.

WEST SIDE STORY (DEC. 18)
Steven Spielberg directs a new version of a classic musical, revolving around a heated romance between Tony (Ansel Elgort) and Maria (Rachel Zeglar) that stirs up trouble among rival street gangs. Academy Award winner Rita Moreno (1961's 'West Side Story') will also appear.
