As Breaking Dawn – Part 2, the penultimate Twilight Saga film, readies to drop in theaters, it's the perfect time to take stock of the momentous journey taken by Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, Jacob Black… and just about everyone else in Forks, Washington. Filming on the series is complete and the actors are already onto their next projects. Here's a look at where they are now, starting with the big three.

Bella Swan / Kristen Stewart

Bella started out as the quintessential awkward teen but grew into a woman who becomes a vampire so she can be with her love, Edward Cullen, forever. They tie the knot, and she gets pregnant. To protect their little girl from the Volturi, they team up with the wolf pack and vampires worldwide in Breaking Dawn Part 2.
What's next? Stewart continues to film indie projects, her latest being On the Road, playing the film fest circuit this year.

Edward Cullen / Robert Pattinson

Edward, the immortal vampire gentleman, fought his love for the human Bella for two films. He even broke up with her to protect her from his world. It didn't last and now he's persuaded Bella to be his wife before he takes away her humanity forever.
What's next? Robert is attached to The Rover, opposite Guy Pearce, Hold on to Me with Carey Mulligan also starring, and Werner Herzog's latest Queen of the Desert.

Jacob Black / Taylor Lautner

Jacob unsuccessfully attempted to persuade Bella to leave Edward. When Bella's pregnancy violates the wolf pack's treaty with the Cullens, he leaves the pack to protect her. In a crazy twist, he imprints on Bella and Edward's newborn Renesmee, and recruits the wolf pack to keep Renesmee from the Volturi.
What's next? Lautner is slated to appear in Grown Ups 2 and attached to parkour actioner Tracers.

Dr. Carlisle Cullen / Peter Facinelli

The skilled doctor and patient Cullen patriarch, Carlisle taught his "children" to give up human blood and only hunt animals. A supporter of Bella from the start, he helped save her life when the vampire James almost killed her. Now he garners support from his vampire friends around the world as the Volturi threaten to decimate his family.
What's next? The veteran TV actor is rumored to be in contention for a role in the film, The Absinthe Drinkers.

Elizabeth Reaser / Esme Cullen

The doting mother to all her children, Esme has also welcomed Bella into their fold. Whether it's giddily cooking Bella's favorite meal or hunting the forests to end the menacing threat of vampire Victoria, Esme's always wanted Bella to be part of her extended family – as a human or vampire.
What's next? Reaser's latest indie Liberal Arts is currently in limited release and is making arthouse rounds.

Ashley Greene / Alice Cullen

Possessing the power of seeing the future, Alice has always been an outspoken proponent of Bella's inclusion in the Cullen family. She helped save her life on more than one occasion with her visions and in the final film, foresees the Volturi coming for the Cullens.
What's next? Greene stars with Harry Potter alums Alan Rickman and Rupert Grint in music biography CBGB, named for a music club that fostered New York's punk-rock scene.

Nikki Reed / Rosalie Hale

Initially unhappy that Edward has brought a human into their life, Rosalie takes her time deciding if she wants anything to do with Bella. She accepts Edward's decision to include her in the family, but the first time she and Bella share a bond is when Bella becomes pregnant.
What's next? Nikki stars in romance sci-fi In Your Eyes, written by Joss Whedon, and Empire State alongside Liam Hemsworth, Dwayne Johnson and Emma Roberts.

Jackson Rathbone / Jasper Hale

Still trying to control his bloodlust, Jasper initially finds it difficult to contain his impulses and attacks Bella when she cuts her finger. However, he makes amends and with his mate, Alice, protects Bella like she is one of their own.
What's next? Rathbone has a band that he tours with between acting gigs, but he next stars in musical comedy DaZe: Vol. Too (sic) - NonSeNse.

Kellan Lutz / Emmett Cullen

Emmett welcomed Bella with no reservations and teases her like another sister. When Bella finally sheds her humanity, Emmett helps her manage her new powers and is up for a good arm wrestling match.
What's next? Lutz goes from vamp to animated Tarzan in 2013. He's also reteaming with Booboo Stewart to star in animated adventure Guardians of Luna.

Billy Burke / Charlie Swan

Bella's father and the Chief of Police in Forks, Charlie is always awkward but loving. He ultimately gives his blessing to Bella and Edward, but is in for a surprise when he sees Renesmee for the first time.
What's next? Burke is busy with his lead role in Revolution, a TV series produced by Jon Favreau and J.J. Abrams, and will also star in comedies Highland Park and Jesus in Cowboy Boots.

Anna Kendrick / Jessica Stanley

Jessica is one of Bella's high school friends and the snarky support of her human life. While she's not aware of the Cullens' true nature, she definitely knows there's something odd about their family.
What's next? Now an Academy Award nominee, Kendrick's had a steady flow of hits, including this year's comedy musical Pitch Perfect. Up next is horror-comedy Rapturepalooza and Drinking Buddies with Olivia Wilde.

Booboo Stewart & Julia Jones / Seth and Leah Clearwater

Leah is Seth's older sister in the La Push wolf pack. She is bitter about her position (and the loss of Sam's love). On the other hand, Seth is a nice kid who also bonds with Bella and helps Jacob protect her.
What's next? Stewart is next in family films Guardians of Luna, Space Warriors, and Hansel and Gretel with his sister Fivel. Jones has a role in Winter in the Blood alongside Chaske Spencer.

Michael Sheen / Aro

One of three Volturi leaders, Aro is very intrigued with Bella Swan and her potential as a future vampire, but sees the Cullen's growing coven as a major threat.
What's next? Sheen next headlines in family adventure, Mariah Mundi and the Midas Box and is attached to comedy Admission with Paul Rudd and Tina Fey.

Dakota Fanning / Jane

The most unsettling of the Volturi members, Jane remains childlike in her undead existence and can torture anyone she wants just by fixating pain on them with her mind.
What's next? In demand as an actress since she was 7, Fanning's career isn't slowing down a bit. She's just completed the films The Motel Life, Very Good Girls and Effie, and is now attached to Furious Angel, in which she stars as a 17-year-old high-powered assassin.

Maggie Grace / Irina

Irina is part of the "vegetarian" Denali clan who consider the Cullens family. When she sees Edward and Bella's daughter, she believes they've created an immortal child – an abominable crime – and reports this to the Volturi. Her hasty act puts into motion a series of grave consequences.
What's next? Grace reprised her role in this year's Taken 2 and stars in Relative Insanity alongside Helen Hunt and David Duchovny.

Mía Maestro / Carmen

The mate of Eleazar, Carmen does not possess special vampire powers but provides wise counsel.
What's next? The international actress next appears in Some Girl(s) with Kristen Bell and is rumored to appear in Gardel, based on the life of the legendary tango sensation Carlos Gardel.

Christian Camargo / Eleazar

A former member of the Volturi, he was allowed to leave with his mate Carmen. He will assist the Cullens in assessing the vampires and their gifts to stand against the Volturi.
What's next? Best known for his role as Dexter's brother on the hit TV series Dexter, Camargo is a familiar face on one-hour dramas from The Mentalist to Law & Order. Up next is a sci-fi thriller Europa in which astronauts are sent to visit Jupiter's fourth moon.

Caius/Jamie Campbell Bower

The most ruthless of the Volturi triumvirate of power, Caius has a hate for werewolves and immortal children. Initially only mildly concerned with Bella's knowledge of vampires existing and the threat she poses, Caius' opinion of her changes dramatically when he learns of her daughter.
What's next? He's appearing in The Mortal Instruments with Lena Headey, the upcoming film adaptation of the hit YA book series.
